Pulse generator for surface modification of metallic materials

This device consists of two unipolar 10kW DC power supplies and a bipolar pulse unit. A computer program controls the bipolar pulse unit and the logging of measurement data.

The output voltage is ±600V DC or pulsed at an output current of ±30A DC or ±300A pulsed. The output signal is either DC or in the range between 0.05Hz and 50kHz.

Both symmetrical and asymmetrical signals can be generated. As part of a sequence method, the software enables the generation of ramp functions. This allows the amplitude of the signals to be continuously changed
